NeuBeam Offers Free Wi-Fi
It’s not uncommon for travelers to experience interrupted or absent cell service while visiting areas of Garrett County. To resolve this disruption during the Victorian Chautauqua, NeuBeam will be providing free Wi-Fi service for the weekend of July 9th and 10th. The service will cover the entire grounds that including three tents, the Historic Assembly Hall property, and everything in between.
Attendees will be able to stay connected throughout the weekend and enjoy the opportunity to share their fun on social media platforms with posts and live media. NeuBeam representatives have said the service can easily handle large crowds which are anticipated over the two days. The high-quality, high-speed Internet will enhance the experience for festival-goers, special guests, vendors, and volunteers.
“This is a fantastic service to people coming to our event,” said Don Sincell, mayor of Mountain Lake Park. “We are so grateful to NeuBeam for providing this first-rate service for those in attendance.”
In 2021, The Victorian Chautauqua planning committee collected comments through a follow-up survey asking people about their festival experience. Several attendees noted a lack of internet connectivity with non-local cell phone plans. This prompted the committee to seek a provider who could address the lack of service. NeuBeam was quick to lend a hand by tapping into a recently installed wireless service for Mountain Lake Park at the location where the festival takes place. The high-speed service has been generously donated to the festival and users for the entire weekend.
