Beard & Mustache Contest

Back for a second time, the Beard & Mustache Contest is a lighthearted celebration that will certainly grow on you.
Contestants can sign up at the Welcome Table outside the Ticket Office Museum throughout the Victorian Chautauqua weekend until 4:45 Sunday. Each entrant should make their way to the Burlington Tent stage where a judges panel will be on hand to select this year’s winner. The panel determines the criteria for judging.
Mikey Virts will be the emcee and he happened to be the 2021 Hairyman Champion, walking away with the silver cup trophy. Second and Third-Place commemorative mugs were also awarded. Deep Creek Salon will be awarding additional prizes to the winners.
Winners are not exclusive to full beards. An impressive mustache can also sway the judge’s panel toward awarding a top honor.
